Interns Handed 9-1 Loss by Ballard
|
Ballard right fielder Denzel Vale had a 4-RBI game, which helped his team beat the Capital Hill Interns, 9-1. Nate Richardson picked up the save for Ballard, his 1st of the year. The first-place Beavers now have a record of 40-28.
John García had a big hit for Ballard in the top of the third inning. With Ballard leading 1-0, García hit a run-scoring double. It was his 10th double of the season and put the Beavers up, 2-0.
"We swung the bats good throughout the lineup," said Ballard skipper Giddy Potts.
