Crownover Rips 2 Home Runs in 4-2 Interns Triumph
The Capital Hill Interns beat the Ellesmere Island Snowpeople, 4-2, with major props going to center fielder Dametrius Crownover. On the day, Crownover slugged 2 home runs, while adding 4 RBI and scoring twice for the Interns. Capital Hill is 7th in the Menard's Low A with a record of 34-36.

Crownover had a game-changing home run in the top of the eighth. On a 1-0 fastball from Lee Jenkins, he banged a 2-run home run to right, giving the Interns a 4-2 lead. It was the 7th home run of the year for Crownover.

"It doesn't matter if you're 10 games over .500 or 10 games under, it feels good to win," Crownover told the Capital Hill Gazette.
