Ducks Win with Late Rally

The Long Island Ducks snuck past the Napanee Express, 7-6, in 10 innings. Long Island pitcher Ron Woods, in particular, had a standout performance. Tomás Silva claimed the win after being brought in from the bullpen. The right-hander allowed no runs on no hits in 1.1 innings. His record stands at 1-1. The Ducks saw their record improve to 35-37.
The Ducks procured the win, in large part because of third baseman Si-xun Choe. In the bottom of the tenth, he produced the game-winning run-scoring single.
"The crowd was raucous," said Woods.
