The Plattsburgh Puffer Fish cut down the Quebec City Baby Blues by the score of 6-5, with the largest share of the credit going to center fielder Jesús Moreno. Moreno was 2 for 4 with 2 home runs. He drove in 6 runs and scored twice for the Puffer Fish. Plattsburgh reliever Jim Wall picked up the win to move to 2-0. Andy Lewis suffered the loss. The game was decided with one out in the bottom of the ninth. With Plattsburgh trailing 5-3, Moreno jumped on a fastball from 21-year old left-handed pitcher Andy Lewis and hit a 3-run home run to left-center. With one swing, the Puffer Fish had a walk-off win.
