Baby Blues Rally to Eke Out Win
|
Quebec City turned a good performance from starting pitcher Alejandro Pineda into a 3-2 triumph over the Moose Jaw Canucks at Foresters Stadium. Picking up the save was Harald Berendsen, his 7th. The Baby Blues now have a record of 37-39.
Pineda gave Quebec City a solid start. The right-hander allowed 1 run on 2 hits over 8.2 innings.
Moose Jaw manager Ismael Barrios said he was "mildly disappointed" with the loss. "We had our opportunities, but we didn't take advantage of them," he said.
