Flint pitcher Álex Canseco had a large part in his team subduing the Ellesmere Island Snowpeople, 6-0. The opposition could never mount much of a rally against the right-hander. The Crush have an impressive 50-26 record.

Flint used the hitting of Pedro Esparza to pick up the win. The right fielder clubbed a grand slam home run in the top of the fourth inning to put the Crush on top, 4-0. For the game, Esparza had 1 home run and 1 single in 4 at-bats.
