The Napanee Express handed the Capital Hill Interns a sound defeat, 11-1, at Paints Ballpark. Robert Wright was a main contributor to the win. He went 3-4 with a home run and a double, while scoring 2 times and driving in 3 for Napanee. Napanee is now 44-33. Capital Hill is 31-46.

Bernard Thomas had a big 3-run home run for the Express in the bottom of the fourth inning. With Napanee trailing 1-0 and runners on 1st and 2nd, he sized up a splitter from 18-year old left-handed pitcher Yu Zhan and punished it. The result was his 11th home run of the season, which put the Express on top, 3-1.

"The Express definitely had our number," said Capital Hill manager Kyu-cheol P'yo.
