Long Island Ducks starter Ángel Vargo pitched a strong game against the Ellesmere Island Snowpeople at Ducks Park, leading the Ducks to victory, 4-1. Tim Manning, credited with the save, is now 3 for 4 in save opportunities. With the victory, the Ducks upped their record to 44-35.
