The Greenport Harbor Whales weathered an outstanding game by Ellesmere Island shortstop Adri Olthuis to topple the Snowpeople, 7-6. Olthuis went 2 for 2 with a double and 2 walks. The Harbor Whales now have a mark of 46-33.

The Harbor Whales got a clutch hit from right fielder Hong-yeol Cho. In the bottom of the tenth, he delivered a run-scoring single to win the game for the Harbor Whales.

In postgame comments to the Greenport Observer, Cho said, "If the effort is there, the wins will come."
