The Napanee Express picked up a win at Paints Ballpark, dropping the Maine Sea Dogs, 2-0. Manny Mejía, who is tied for 10th in the 3A- with a 6.7 K/9 rate, was the difference-maker. The Express have now won 7 straight.

Napanee got a knockout punch from Rauno Korpi. The pinch hitter hammered a 2-run home run in the bottom of the ninth inning to win the game. It might've been his only hit, but it decided the outcome.

Napanee manager Dan Bond called it "a darn good win."
