The Ballard Beavers scored a tight, 4-3 win versus the Moose Jaw Canucks at The Beaver Dam. Ballard pitcher Avery Finley held his own in the contest. Jesse Seals picked up his 17th save of the season. The winning streak has now reached 4 games for Ballard.
Chris Stephenson cracked a home run off Alfonso Gámez in the bottom of the eighth. His 2-run blast put the Beavers on top, 4-3. In all, Stephenson had 2 singles in addition to the home run, while going 3 for 4.
