Baby Lakers Suffer One-Run Loss at Long Island
The Long Island Ducks got a stellar performance from pitcher Luis Orozco, who handcuffed the Bompton offense en route to a win, 3-2, at Ducks Park. Orozco yielded 2 runs over 7 innings to notch the win. He scattered 5 hits, walked 1, and struck out 7. His record improves to 6-5. Picking up his 24th save was 20-year old right-handed pitcher Manny Rodríguez.

Center Fielder Kernie LeBlanc made an impact for Long Island, when he swatted a 2-run triple off Zach Holland in the bottom of the fifth. For the contest, LeBlanc was 1-4 with a triple. He drove in 2 runs.
