Interns Lose, 7-4, in 10

North Ft. Myers and Capital Hill duked it out and the Gators came out victorious.
The North Ft. Myers Gators defeated the Capital Hill Interns, 7-4, in 10 innings. Much of the credit belonged to right fielder Henry Symeonis, who hit 3 home runs. He drove in 5 runs and scored three times for the Gators. The win has North Ft. Myers at 32-53.
José Ortega went 1-3 with a walk for North Ft. Myers. The 21-year old third baseman had a key at-bat in the top of the tenth. With no one out and runners on 1st and 3rd, he broke a 3-3 tie with a run-scoring sacrifice fly off Gerardo González. It was his 20th RBI of the season.
"We try to keep the mood light around here," said Symeonis. "Winning helps."
