The Napanee Express, despite a fine performance by Plattsburgh pitcher Lou Anderson, grabbed a 2-0 win at Paints Ballpark. Anderson allowed 2 runs over 8 innings. The Express go to 49-37, putting them 4th in the Menard's Low A.

Iván Galindo came through for Napanee when he hit a 2-run home run in the bottom of the fourth. With a runner on 1st, he hit a two-strike fastball to right field, staking his team to a 2-0 lead.

"We need better swings, better at-bats," said losing manager Allen Carlson.
