Esquivel, Bethlehem Prevail in Pitchers' Duel
Bethlehem got a first-rate effort from pitcher José Esquivel, who frustrated Greenport hitters en route to a 2-0 Angel Kitties triumph at Kittie Park. Chris McElroy got the save, his 16th in 18 chances. With the win, Bethlehem goes to 44-48, while the Harbor Whales fall to 55-37.

Esquivel ran roughshod over the Greenport lineup. The right-hander allowed just 4 hits over 8 innings, while striking out 8. With the victory, he goes to 9-3 on the season.

"José just settled in and did what he does," said Bethlehem manager Zach Stafford.
