The Bompton Baby Lakers wasted an inspired, 8-inning effort from starter Luis Domínguez, falling, 1-0, to the Napanee Express in 10 innings at Paints Ballpark. Napanee reliever Scot Dixon was the winner. His record is now 9-2. Zhi-jan Wu took the loss. Napanee, now 54-38, holds down 4th place in the Menard's Low A.

The Express got a clutch hit from second baseman Rafael Zavala. In the bottom of the tenth, he hit a run-scoring single to center, to win the game for the Express.

"I'll probably toss and turn tonight," Bompton manager Tyrone Poole said, following the tough loss.
