Fans watched the Las Vegas Flamingos and the Panama City Piranhas fight to the finish.

The Las Vegas Flamingos went home winners at The Tank, thanks in large part to starter Steven Weaver. Weaver stifled the Panama City Piranhas, enabling Las Vegas to grab the 2-1 win. David Luna picked up his 1st save of the season.

Dick Pound broke a 1-1 tie in the top of the fifth with a run-scoring walk. It put the Flamingos in front, 2-1. For the game, Pound drew 1 walk.

"You can't take yourself too seriously," Pound told the Las Vegas Times. "But at the end of the day, we do play to win ballgames."

The Flamingos raised their record to 22-31.
