Canucks Knock Off Ducks at Foresters Stadium

Chong-yeol Sin imposed his will on the Ducks from the get-go. Relying mainly on his sinker, the right-hander spearheaded the 4-1 Moose Jaw triumph. Sin, now 7-3, was the winner. In 6.1 innings, he gave up 5 hits, while striking out 5, walking 0, and allowing 1 run. The save was credited to Salvador Márquez, his 3rd.
Dan Griffin came through for Moose Jaw when he hit a 2-run single in the bottom of the fifth. With runners on 2nd and 3rd, he hit a two-strike slider to center field, staking his team to a 3-1 lead.
"Chong-yeol giving us the start that he did was huge," said Moose Jaw manager Ismael Barrios.
The win gives Moose Jaw a season record of 49-44.
