The Quebec City Baby Blues picked up a win at Ducks Park, topping the Long Island Ducks, 5-1. On the mound for Quebec City was right-hander Edward Vaughn. He played a principal role in the triumph. Matt Whitfield earned the save, his 3rd, for the Baby Blues. With the win, Quebec City has a record of 57-37. Long Island falls to 47-47.

Quebec City used a clutch at-bat from Esteban Sánchez to capture the win. The third baseman hammered a 3-run home run in the top of the first inning to put the Baby Blues ahead, 3-0. It was his lone hit in 5 at-bats, but it was a humdinger.
