Baby Blues Topple Ducks, 5-4

Brit Hughes, who leads the 3A- with a 8.7 K/9 rate, was locked in. The right-hander led the Quebec City Baby Blues to a 5-4 win against the Long Island Ducks at Dylan Park. Cisco Pérez closed the game out for Quebec City, earning his 1st save. At 38-57, the Baby Blues find themselves in last place in the Menard's Low A.
A defensive lapse proved costly in the contest. In the bottom of the sixth, with the game tied, Owen Walls was at the plate when Quebec City scored 1 on an error. The miscue enabled the Baby Blues to go in front, 5-4.
"I liked the focus, I liked the effort," said Baby Blues manager Mauro Rangel.
