Both teams had their chances, but the Plattsburgh Puffer Fish eventually prevailed.

The Quebec City Baby Blues could not turn a fine performance from first baseman Grease Zerk into a win. Instead, the Plattsburgh Puffer Fish prevailed, 6-5. Zerk went 3-4 with a home run, a double, and a walk, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 2. Sam Frey, the winning pitcher, is now 6-1. He went 5.2 innings, allowing 4 runs on 6 hits, while fanning 3 and walking 5.

Nick Tobías came through for Plattsburgh when he hit a 2-run home run in the bottom of the fifth. With a runner on 1st, he hit a two-strike fastball to right field, staking his team to a 5-4 lead.

"Nice to see our side come away with the win," Tobías said after the game.

The Puffer Fish improved to a lofty 68-27.
