Shredders Hope Opening Day Win Bodes Well for Season
Opening day festivities have begun throughout the league. Fans of the MSL Hollywood Shredders were eager to watch Ramón Guzmán square off against Ulrik Fromberg of the visiting MSL Pittsburgh Kingfishers. In the end, the Shredders won the game, 6-4, with Su-wu Situ leading the way. MSL Hollywood pitcher Ramón Guzmán earned the win, hiking his record to 1-0. Ulrik Fromberg suffered the loss.

Chi-seong Ping took MSL Pittsburgh hurler Ulrik Fromberg deep in the bottom of the fifth. His 2-run home run put the Shredders on top, 6-4. In all, Ping had 2 singles in addition to the home run, while going 3 for 4.

"Our approach was just to try to see something over the plate and be aggressive," Situ told the MSL Hollywood Chronicle.
