Andersen Now 1-0 After Subduing Billy Goats

Fans brought energy and enthusiasm to the MSL Colorado Billy Goats home opener. Carlos González started for the home team against Andreas Andersen for the MSL Northern Virginia Rainbow Mermaids. The Billy Goats were unable to reward the home crowd with a win. The final score was 5-1, MSL Northern Virginia. Andreas Andersen, though, was impressive.
Andersen, the winner, is now 1-0. In 8 innings of work, he gave up no runs on 5 hits, while collecting 6 Ks. He essentially shut down the MSL Colorado offense.
"Andreas has got a slow heartbeat," said MSL Northern Virginia manager Leslie Brooks. "He doesn't panic or anything."
