Carlos González was in a mood to talk following the MSL Northern Virginia Rainbow Mermaids contest against the MSL Philadelphia Liberty, expounding to BNN reporters on his pitching philosophy. He had good reason to be excitable, having tossed a complete game shutout of the Liberty, 5-0.
"There are three important elements in pitching success: location, location, and location," González said. "I was hitting my spots time and time again."

The right-handed Rosado gave up no runs in his start, permitted 2 hits, and tallied 8 strikeouts.
"If there was a stat for 'team shutout,' this would be it," Rosado said later. "My catcher called a great game, guys delivered at the plate and when I messed something up the guys behind me were where they needed to be."
In 7 starts this season, Rosado has recorded 3 wins and absorbed 2 losses. He has pitched 44 innings, allowed 37 hits, struck out 35 and has a 3.27 ERA.
