MSL Boston Loses Yifu Teng, Will Miss Season

The season is apparently over for Yifu Teng. The MSL Boston Patriots medical staff informed the club that the starting pitcher will be out at least 7 months with a partially torn ulnar collateral ligament. Teng was hurt in the game against MSL Toledo while throwing a pitch. The doctors did not think he would recover prior to the end of the season.

Rosado Tosses 4-0 Shutout

Manuel Rosado kept the opposition off the scoreboard and the MSL Philadelphia Liberty were all smiles after winning, 4-0, against the MSL Pittsburgh Kingfishers at MSL Pittsburgh Ballpark. The right-handed Rosado gave up no runs in his start, permitted 3 hits, and tallied 5 strikeouts.
"If there was a stat for 'team shutout,' this would be it," Rosado said later. "My catcher called a great game, guys delivered at the plate and when I messed something up the guys behind me were where they needed to be."
His record for the year is 9-2 in 14 starts and Rosado has a 2.95 ERA.
