Voodoo Earn 9-1 Win Versus MSL Seattle
The MSL New Orleans Voodoo got their 2060 season off and running with a win over the MSL Seattle Rocketeers at MSL New Orleans Ballpark. The final score was 9-1. MSL New Orleans pitcher Miguel Romero, in particular, had a fine performance.

William Kirby had a big 2-run double for the Voodoo in the bottom of the second inning. With MSL New Orleans leading 1-0 and the bases loaded, he got a fastball from 17-year old right-handed pitcher Valentín Buitrugo and swatted a double to right. It was his 1st double of the season, and more importantly, it put the Voodoo ahead, 3-0.

MSL Seattle manager Ricardo Téllez said his team was "out of sync."
