Billy Goats Deal Rainbow Mermaids 4-1 Setback
The MSL Colorado Billy Goats knocked off the MSL Northern Virginia Rainbow Mermaids, 4-1, in USPL Mexican Summer League action at MSL Colorado Ballpark. MSL Colorado pitcher and Mexico City, Mexico, native Román Bravo had an outstanding performance. The win puts MSL Colorado at 1-1.

The Billy Goats got a big at-bat from catcher Francisco Gonzáles. For the game, Gonzáles went 2 for 4 with 2 doubles. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. In the bottom of the third, with the bases loaded, he stroked a 2-run double. His 2nd double of the season gave MSL Colorado a 2-1 lead.
