Rainbow Mermaids Lose Late, 9-5
|
The MSL Buffalo White Walkers defeated the MSL Northern Virginia Rainbow Mermaids, 9-5. Catcher Seung-ho Kim deserved a large share of the credit. Kim went 3 for 4 with 3 singles. He drove in 3 runs and scored once for the White Walkers. The win moves MSL Buffalo to a record of 1-1.
Edmond Gray chipped in a 2-run home run for MSL Buffalo in the bottom of the eighth. For the game, the catcher had 2 hits in 4 at-bats with 1 home run, 1 single, 1 run scored, and 2 RBI.
"The boys were really swinging the bats today," winning manager Emmett Amavizca said.
