Rocketeers Grind Out 2-0 Win
The MSL Seattle Rocketeers got a good effort from starter Tim George in defeating the MSL Toronto Thunder at MSL Seattle Ballpark. The final score was 2-0. In 7.1 innings, George surrendered 4 hits, while striking out 5 and walking 1. He allowed no runs. MSL Toronto falls to 1-1.

The Thunder had been locked in a 0-0 tie with the Rocketeers going into the bottom of the fifth inning. That changed quickly when the 17-year old third baseman Gabriel Sánchez came to the plate. Sánchez hit a solo home run on a 1-0 fastball from MSL Toronto hurler Roberto Martínez. It was Sánchez's 1st home run of the year.
