MSL Boston Loses, 10-8, to MSL Mexico City in 10
|
Tim Witney added some punch to the MSL Mexico City offense, helping them outmuscle the MSL Boston Patriots, 10-8. In the game, Witney went 3-5 with a home run and 2 singles. He scored 3 times and drove in 2. MSL Mexico City reliever Norberto Chapa picked up the win to move to 1-0. Edilberto Dioquino suffered the loss. The loss drops MSL Boston to 2-1.
The game was all tied up in the top of the tenth, until Witney delivered big-time for MSL Mexico City, stroking a dramatic 2-run home run off Bao-tian Ku. The game-changing hit put the Blue Demons on top, 10-8.
"It was terrific getting this win," Witney said. "We put in a lot of work to do it."
