Wes Purss pitched a gem to lead MSL Seattle to victory over the MSL Toronto Thunder, 6-0. Purss got the win, improving to 1-0. He gave up 6 hits and walked 5 over 7.2 innings. He allowed no runs. The win takes MSL Seattle to 3-0.

The Rocketeers got an important contribution from center fielder Yin-tou Qiu, who in the bottom of the fourth punched a 0-1 fastball to center for a solo home run. It was his 3rd home run of the season and put the Rocketeers ahead, 2-0.

"Wes's not intimidated by who's stepping into the batter's box," said MSL Seattle manager Ricardo Téllez.
