Late Heroics Net Rocketeers 8-7 Win
The MSL Seattle Rocketeers had to overcome a big game from MSL Detroit third baseman Eric Riedy to leave MSL Seattle Ballpark with a victory. And they did, winning, 8-7, in 12 innings. Riedy went 3 for 6 with a home run and 2 singles, while scoring 3 runs and driving in 2. MSL Seattle sits at 2-1 in the early going.

The game came to a climactic end in the bottom of the 12th. With MSL Seattle trailing 7-6, Bailey Sharp delivered the big blow, hitting a sinker from Álex Canseco for a 2-run home run. Just like that, the Rocketeers had a walk-off win.

"It's great to see the crowd jacked up," Sharp said.
