MSL New Orleans Ballpark was the site for USPL Mexican Summer League action featuring the MSL Boston Patriots and MSL New Orleans Voodoo.

The MSL New Orleans Voodoo routed the MSL Boston Patriots, 12-3, at MSL New Orleans Ballpark. Ryan Short was one of the hitting stars. He went 2-4 with 2 doubles and a walk. He drove in 6 runs and scored once for MSL New Orleans. MSL New Orleans starter Neel Wagenmakers was credited with the win after throwing 92 pitches over 6.1 innings. His record now stands at 1-0.

In the first inning, Short had a 2-run double for MSL New Orleans. It was his 2nd double of the season and put the Voodoo on top, 3-0.

"We did the things that it takes to win a game," said Short.

The loss drops MSL Boston to 1-2.
