MSL Memphis pitcher Carlos Herrera had a large part in his team beating the MSL Toledo Stingers, 4-0. The right-hander kept opposing batters in check throughout the game. José Mojica closed the game out for MSL Memphis, earning his 1st save. The win puts MSL Memphis at 2-2.

Ikki Fujihara helped his team take an early lead with a run-scoring single. It came in the first inning, making the score 1-0, Mockingbirds.

"It doesn't matter if you're 10 games over .500 or 10 games under, it feels good to win," Fujihara told the MSL Memphis Gazette.
