The MSL Colorado Billy Goats got a strong performance from pitcher Travis Boggs. Gritty stymied the MSL Pittsburgh offense en route to a solid, 5-2 win at MSL Pittsburgh Ballpark. Boggs, now 1-1, was the winner. In 7 innings, he gave up 4 hits, while striking out 5, walking 4, and allowing 1 run. Picking up the save was Miguel Quintana, his 1st.

In the top of the fifth, Chang-wei Ma delivered a clutch hit. With two gone and runners on 2nd and 3rd, the MSL Colorado center fielder hit a run-scoring single, putting the Billy Goats in front, 5-2.
