5 Straight Wins for Rocketeers
|
The MSL Seattle Rocketeers picked up a win at MSL Buffalo Ballpark, knocking off the MSL Buffalo White Walkers, 1-0. On the mound for MSL Seattle was right-hander José Ramos, who played a pivotal role in the win. Ramos, now 2-0, was the winner. In 7 innings, he gave up 9 hits, while striking out 8, walking 3, and allowing no runs. Pascal Langlet, summoned from the bullpen, notched his 4th save.
Who knows how it might've ended, had it not been for Sergio Ramírez? The MSL Seattle left fielder had a run-scoring double in the top of the second inning to put the Rocketeers on top, 1-0. For the game, Ramírez had 1 double and 1 single in 4 at-bats.
"We made a couple of mistakes," said MSL Buffalo skipper Amadeo Nardello, "and it cost us."
The loss puts MSL Buffalo at 1-4.
