In a low-scoring contest between the MSL Hollywood Shredders and the MSL Seattle Rocketeers, 17-year old right-handed pitcher Curt Case proved to be the difference. The MSL Hollywood right-hander earned props for his performance in the 2-0 Shredders win. Case yielded no runs over 6 innings to notch the win. He scattered 5 hits, walked 3, and struck out 5. His record improves to 1-1. Getting the save was Li Hark, his 2nd.

Pat Rawsthorne contributed to the MSL Hollywood win with a solo home run in the bottom of the fourth. For the game, the center fielder had 2 hits in 4 at-bats with 1 home run, 1 single, 1 run scored, and 1 RBI.

"The only difference is executing pitches and not executing pitches," said Case. "When you don't execute, you get beat. When you execute, you usually give your team a chance to win."
