Voodoo Stick Thunder with 8-6 Loss
The MSL New Orleans Voodoo beat the MSL Toronto Thunder, 8-6, at MSL Thunder Ballpark. Gregory Gálvez, in particular, was impressive. He went 4-5 with a home run and 3 singles, while scoring 2. MSL New Orleans pitcher Oliver de Weever earned the win, hiking his record to 1-0. Carlos López suffered the loss. The loss drops MSL Toronto to 3-3.

Stefan Lundgren had a big 3-run home run for the Voodoo in the top of the third inning. With MSL New Orleans leading 4-1 and runners on 1st and 2nd, he sized up a fastball from 17-year old right-handed pitcher Carlos López and punished it. The result was his 1st home run of the season, which put the Voodoo on top, 7-1.

"You can't hate how you win if you win," said MSL New Orleans skipper Bill Richmond.
