The MSL Hollywood Shredders did just enough to sneak past the MSL Toronto Thunder, 4-3, at MSL Hollywood Ballpark. MSL Hollywood pitcher Daniel Delfinado, in particular, had a standout performance. Delfinado yielded 3 runs over 7 innings to notch the win. He scattered 3 hits, walked 3, and struck out 7. His record improves to 1-0. The win puts MSL Hollywood at 4-3.

MSL Hollywood first baseman Augusto Flores contributed a timely at-bat in the bottom of the sixth. With two down, he hit a splitter to right field for a run-scoring single. It was his 8th hit of the season and put the Shredders ahead, 4-3.

"Daniel had good stuff. When he did get into a compromising count, he made the most of it," said MSL Hollywood manager Ricardo López.
