MSL Seattle Beats MSL Ft. Worth, 2-1

The MSL Seattle Rocketeers eked out a 2-1 win versus the MSL Ft. Worth Cattlemen at MSL Ft. Worth Ballpark. Nobody did more than pitcher Ruud Asmus. He was terrific. In 6.1 innings, Asmus surrendered 7 hits, while striking out 6 and walking 2. He allowed no runs. Earning his 2nd save of the year was Trent Harris.
MSL Seattle used a well-timed hit by Hsin-ta Sun to capture the win. The first baseman socked a run-scoring double in the top of the fifth inning to put the Rocketeers ahead, 2-0. Though it was his only hit in 3 at-bats, it was important.
"I tell our guys all the time, 'Every pitch is the right pitch if you put it in the right place, you believe in it and have conviction,'" MSL Seattle manager Ricardo Téllez said.
The victory makes MSL Seattle 3-6.
