Becker has 4 hits, Leads Cattlemen to Win
|
The MSL Ft. Worth Cattlemen downed the MSL Buffalo White Walkers, 6-2. The hitting star was second baseman Rick Becker. Becker went 4 for 5 with a home run and 3 singles, while scoring 2 times and driving in 3 for the Cattlemen. Joe Jenkins sewed up the save, his 3rd. MSL Ft. Worth has now won 3 in a row.
With MSL Ft. Worth trailing 2-1 in the top of the fifth, Becker hit a fastball from Finlay Midwinter for a 3-run home run. It was his 1st home run of the season and put the Cattlemen ahead, 4-2.
"We were able to get some things going offensively," said Becker.
