Thunder Earn 3-1 Road Win Over MSL Memphis
The MSL Toronto Thunder earned a close win over the MSL Memphis Mockingbirds, thanks in part to Vic Halliwell. The MSL Toronto right-hander, who is rated as the 10th best prospect by BNN, played a key role in the 3-1 victory. In 6.1 innings, Halliwell surrendered 4 hits, while striking out 8 and walking 3. He allowed 1 run. Cristóbal González was called on to finish, recording his 3rd save.

MSL Toronto took the lead, 3-1, on Gerardo Ramos's 3rd home run of the season. The solo home run came off MSL Memphis pitcher Félix Meléndez in the top of the ninth.

"It's nice to get the results when you're feeling good and throwing the ball well," said Halliwell after the game.

The victory gives the Thunder a record of 5-5.
