Shredders Suffer 6-4 Loss to Voodoo
The MSL New Orleans Voodoo defeated the MSL Hollywood Shredders, 6-4, at MSL Hollywood Ballpark. Leading the charge for MSL New Orleans was designated hitter Mario Rossi. He went 1 for 4 with a home run. He drove in 4 runs and scored once. German Lyadov earned the save, his 5th, for the Voodoo. The first-place Voodoo hiked their record to 8-4.

Rossi had a game-changing home run in the top of the sixth. On a 1-1 curveball from Husam Rahman, he banged a grand slam home run to left, giving the Voodoo a 6-4 lead. It was the 2nd home run of the year for Rossi.

"We've got a great group of guys," Rossi said, "and we're having fun right now."
