Riese Slugs Rocketeers to 5-4 Win
|
Getting a good performance from catcher Ty Riese, the MSL Seattle Rocketeers defeated the MSL Boston Patriots, 5-4. Riese slugged 2 home runs, while adding 4 RBI and scoring twice for the Rocketeers. The 9th-place Rocketeers lifted their record to 5-8.
Scott Creswell hit a run-scoring triple off Fernando Rivera in the top of the ninth, which put the Rocketeers in front, 5-4. Creswell had 1 single, in addition to the triple. For the game, he went 2 for 5.
"I just tried to see the ball and put a good swing on it," said Creswell.
