Cattlemen Sneak By Rocketeers, 3-2

The MSL Ft. Worth Cattlemen defeated the MSL Seattle Rocketeers, 3-2, in USPL Mexican Summer League action at MSL Ft. Worth Ballpark. MSL Ft. Worth pitcher Emílio Sosa had a standout performance. Julien Parmentier snagged the win in relief. The right-hander allowed 1 run on 1 hit over 3 innings. He's now 1-0 on the season. The triumph puts MSL Ft. Worth at 7-6 for the season.
Carlos Morán was 1 for 3 with a walk for MSL Ft. Worth. The 18-year old center fielder had a key at-bat in the bottom of the eighth. With two out and the bases loaded, he broke a 2-2 tie with a run-scoring walk off Graeme Roberts. It was his 1st walk of the season.
"Emílio was in control from the top," said MSL Ft. Worth manager Alwin Vreekamp.
