MSL New Orleans Makes It 6 Straight with 4-1 Win
The MSL New Orleans Voodoo extended their winning streak.

Starting pitcher Alard Elst did his part in helping the MSL New Orleans Voodoo thwart the MSL Long Island Lighthouse, 4-1. MSL New Orleans reliever Ronaldo Hoppfer picked up the win to move to 1-1. Luis Muñóz suffered the loss.

Chad Clayton came through with a big-time hit for MSL New Orleans. The catcher smacked a grand slam home run in the top of the eighth inning to give his team the lead, 4-1. It was his only hit, but it was clutch.

"Clutch hitting plus clutch pitching usually equals a win," said Clayton.

The Lighthouse, at 5-9, have lost 4 straight games.
