Cattlemen 5-2 Losers to Rainbow Mermaids
The MSL Northern Virginia Rainbow Mermaids stymied the MSL Ft. Worth Cattlemen, 5-2, at MSL Ft. Worth Ballpark. Steve Wrottesley had a good day at the plate. He was 2-4 with a home run and a triple for MSL Northern Virginia. The triumph puts MSL Northern Virginia at 9-5 for the season.

MSL Northern Virginia used a well-timed hit by Victorino Ganchas to capture the win. The catcher socked a run-scoring double in the top of the first inning to put the Rainbow Mermaids ahead, 2-0. Though it was his only hit in 3 at-bats, it was important.

MSL Northern Virginia manager Leslie Brooks called it "a darn good win."
