Burton Hits Two Homers in 7-1 Win for MSL New Orleans
MSL New Orleans took on MSL Long Island in front of a lively crowd.

Riding the 2-hit performance of the 18-year old shortstop Fred Burton, the MSL New Orleans Voodoo defeated the MSL Long Island Lighthouse, 7-1. The first-place Voodoo are 11-4.

Burton contributed a big hit, a 3-run home run, for MSL New Orleans in the top of the second. With his team trailing 1-0, Burton took a sinker from Salvador Rosas and stroked the home run to left-center. His 6th home run of the season allowed the Voodoo to leap in front, 3-1.

"Feels good to get the job done," Burton said after the game.
