MSL New Orleans Beats MSL Ft. Worth, 4-2
|
MSL New Orleans Voodoo starter Robbie Kuhn pitched a strong game against the MSL Ft. Worth Cattlemen at MSL Ft. Worth Ballpark, leading the Voodoo to victory, 4-2. Kuhn got the win, improving to 3-0. He gave up 4 hits and walked 3 over 5.1 innings. He allowed 2 runs. Juan Fernández was credited with the save for MSL New Orleans, his 2nd of the season.
Ka-fei Fong, who is tied for 10th in the PMSL in home runs with 3, had a direct impact on the outcome. Fong contributed a run-scoring hit-by-pitch in the top of the second inning to put MSL New Orleans up, 2-0.
"I like what I saw today," said MSL New Orleans manager Bill Richmond, "and I can't wait to get back out there and do it again."
Today's win puts MSL New Orleans at 11-4, while MSL Ft. Worth falls to 4-11.
