The MSL New Orleans Voodoo downed the MSL Seattle Rocketeers, 8-0, at MSL New Orleans Ballpark. Starring for MSL New Orleans was pitcher Dylan van Pelt. The second-place Voodoo are now 11-4, the Rocketeers 5-10.
van Pelt allowed no runs on 4 hits over 7 innings for the Voodoo. With the win, he is 2-2 with an ERA of 3.56.
"Main thing is I want the team to win," van Pelt told a reporter after the game. "Just have to go out there, take care of my job, and give my team a chance to win."
