The MSL Toronto Thunder defeated the MSL Toledo Stingers, 6-2, at MSL Toledo Ballpark. Leading the charge for MSL Toronto was second baseman Ismael Salcido. He went 3-3 with a double, 2 singles, and a walk. He scored 2 times. Carlos López got credit for the win, improving to 2-2. He allowed 2 runs on 7 hits in 6.2 innings. The misery never ends for the Stingers, who've lost 12 in a row.
MSL Toronto used a well-timed hit by Myun-gu Ch'oe to capture the win. The left fielder socked a run-scoring double in the top of the fifth inning to put the Thunder ahead, 2-1. Though it was his only hit in 4 at-bats, it was important.
MSL Toledo manager José Pinto, after yet another defeat, said: "Just different when you have that swimming feeling in your cranium. It's difficult to focus."
