MSL Mexico City Gets 5-2 Win
The MSL Mexico City Blue Demons knocked off the MSL Seattle Rocketeers, 5-2, in USPL Mexican Summer League action at MSL Seattle Ballpark. MSL Mexico City pitcher and Manalapan Township, New Jersey, native Reggie Franks had an outstanding performance. Franks, who is tied for 2nd in the PMSL in strikeouts with 38, went the distance for MSL Mexico City. He gave up 2 runs on 4 hits. MSL Mexico City raised its record to 9-7 with the win.

The Blue Demons got a big at-bat from first baseman Tim Witney. For the game, Witney went 1-4 with a home run. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. In the top of the second, with a runner on 1st, he stroked a 2-run home run. His 5th home run of the season gave MSL Mexico City a 2-0 lead.

"Reggie pounded the strike zone and made good pitches when he needed to," said MSL Mexico City manager .
