MSL Hollywood and MSL New Orleans played a hard-fought contest.

The MSL Hollywood Shredders used a great performance from Sung-heun Kim, who is tied for 10th in the PMSL in quality starts with 3, to beat the MSL New Orleans Voodoo, 3-1, at MSL New Orleans Ballpark. Kim yielded 1 run over 5.1 innings to notch the win. He scattered 2 hits, walked 5, and struck out 5. His record improves to 3-3.

Orlando Rodríguez, who is rated as the 92nd best prospect by BNN, had a direct impact on the outcome. Rodríguez contributed a run-scoring sacrifice fly in the top of the sixth inning to put MSL Hollywood up, 3-1.

"I'm just trying to make good contact," said Rodríguez, "one at-bat at a time."
