Voodoo Best Shredders in Pitching Duel
The MSL New Orleans Voodoo went home winners at MSL New Orleans Ballpark, thanks in large part to starter Chris Fry. Fry stifled the MSL Hollywood Shredders, enabling MSL New Orleans to grab the 2-1 win. Gerard Johnson was credited with the save for MSL New Orleans, his 4th of the season. MSL New Orleans is now 8-9. MSL Hollywood is 9-8.

Stefan Lundgren dealt the Shredders a blow in the bottom of the fifth. Batting with the bases loaded and MSL New Orleans leading 1-0, Lundgren, who is tied for 10th in the PMSL in stolen bases with 1, hit a 1-0 fastball for a run-scoring single.

"Chris is tough when he's hitting his spots," said MSL New Orleans manager Bill Richmond.
