Kingfishers Need Extra Frames to Get Past Grey Wolves
The MSL Pittsburgh Kingfishers withstood an impressive performance by MSL Vancouver third baseman Masami Kouno to defeat the Grey Wolves, 5-4, at MSL Pittsburgh Ballpark. Kouno hit 2 home runs. He drove in 3 runs and scored twice. This win makes it 5 in a row for MSL Pittsburgh.

The game was decided with one out in the bottom of the tenth. With MSL Pittsburgh trailing 4-3, Joe Elliott hit a fastball from Roberto Alfaro to right for a 2-run single. Just like that, the Kingfishers had a walk-off win.

"This wasn't a good win," said Elliott. "It was a great win."
